Position Description

Craft Gourmet by Loubna Baker is beautifully and tastefully decorated and our waiters are lovely, welcoming and detail-oriented, making you feel at home from the very first time you step inside our restaurant. We also have a healthy number of crowd that eat here and everyone still feels so comfortable to eat and even work remotely from. Just few days ago we won best waiter at MasterCard Restaurant Week 2016. That shows the caliber of talents we are looking forward to having on our team. If you do not desire to be that unique, do not even apply. This internship will last for 1 month after which you will be considered for a full-time entry level position.


Responsibilities

Keeping the customer in focus and taking action to optimize sales and convert more visitors into customers.
Actively learn about the products we sell, about their content, origin and other benefits. You share this knowledge with customers and colleagues.
Actively approach customers to make them feel welcome and taking action based on their questions and feedback.
Ensure efficiency and good operations following daily operational routines as set by your manager.
Duties of this position will include filling orders, suggestive selling, receiving money and accurately counting back change, being responsible for all cash issued and received at your register during your shift, counting down the drawer at the end of the shift to ensure accuracy.

Requirements

Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours
Must be ready to work late nights
You must be service minded and sales driven and feel motivated in working in a vibrant retail environment
Occasionally use motion which entails pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists
Must have good communication skills
Full-time availability but shift is availableavailable
