Each year, the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG) offers the NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme for students in Nigerian tertiary institutions and for high performing basic six pupils.

The Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme started in 1998, as part of NLNG’s Corporate Social Responsibility to Nigerian Citizens towards enhancing human capacity development. Through a $13 million partnership with The MasterCard Foundation in Canada, Ashesi University College has been able to expand its existing scholarship programme. Ashesi will be awarding significant financial support to both qualified Ghanaian and international undergraduate students who need such assistance.

Under the Ashesi University College MasterCard Foundation Scholarship Program, the Scholarship Committee will meet annually to assess the financial status of each scholar’s family. You may be asked to submit updated bank statements, pay slips and other supporting documents to verify your family’s financial standing.

Students who receive scholarships typically achieve mostly A’s and B’s on their transcripts and national exam results. Applications for the 2017/2018 MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at Ashesi has commenced.

Eligibility
Typically, scholarships are awarded to students from low income and middle income families. Any family that cannot afford the full fees should complete a financial aid application form and turn it in with their admissions application.The Scholarship Committee will determine the amount of your award on the basis of demonstrated need and the strength of your application.

Job Description
The role holder responsibilities will primarily be to:

Spearhead the launch of 4G services in Nigeria
Grow market and revenue share in the lucrative Home Broadband and Home Content segment in Nigeria
Grow market share with launch of products related to IoT
Duties and Responsibilities
Product & Service Development and Launch:

Launch of 4G services in relevant and identified areas
Launch of new products around 4G
Launch of solutions for Home Broadband
Launch of content-linked Home Broadband solutions
Vendor Management:

Ensure new concepts derive incremental revenue
Ensure ALL new concepts are implemented from ideation to Launch
Directly manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to ensuring roll outs of products/services
Support team with internal/external stakeholder management:

Identify partnerships and opportunities with both external and internal stakeholders
Identify IoT opportunities in market space and launch services
Ensure all revenue share, as deviant from organization’s approved share is appropriately negotiated by the SCM team
Reporting:

Provide revenue reports on all managed services
Track and analyze results of product and service launches and recommend optimizations as appropriate
Engage with Finance, Marketing (Business Intelligence, MARCOMMs, NPD), and IT functions to ensure all functions deliver on their specific areas of responsibility on 4G related project
Relevant Skill and Experience

Bachelors in Marketing or Social Sciences
Post graduate in marketing
Exposure to Home oriented businesses will be an added advantage
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Telecoms industry
