-          The Human Resource and Administrative Officer is responsible for managing all human resource management activities in the area of attraction, capacity development (training), compensation, performance management and exit management. The individual is also responsible for overseeing general office administration.
-          Provide administrative support to the human resource function including general record keeping, personnel record keeping and church administration
-          Work with unit heads to coordinate new-church member induction and orientation
-          Respond to church members’ queries and resolve complaints related to HR policies
-          Update the church organization charts as required
-          Assist receptionist in providing general clerical/admin support e.g. photocopying, filing, faxing and respond to routine church correspondence
-          Maintain stock and supplies of church consumables and distribute as required
-          Manage the procurement of equipment, materials and church supplies at the right quantity, quality and at minimal cost
-          Prepare regular reports on church’s purchases and send to supervisor
-          Provide administrative support for matters relating to the church premises and business operations including security, opening and closing of church premises, cleaning and transport
-          Keep all church manual and electronic filings up to date. Maintain the general filing system and archives

    • Able to performs repairs and maintenance on trucks and heavy equipment to maximize safe and productive operations.
    • Trains and assists Mechanics on methods for diagnosing and repairing vehicles and equipment.
    • Supervise, schedules or assigns work to mechanics and other maintenance personnel.
    • Tests vehicles to troubleshoot problems and/or tests repairs to ensure proper and safe completion.
    • Prepares purchase orders and researches best prices on parts or repairs from vendors.
    • Ensure the maintenance records for fleet are accurate and up-to-date.
    • Negotiate service agreements to ensure cost efficiencies.
    • Ensure adequate training of mechanic, preventative maintenance mechanics and all other shop personnel.
    • Diagnose mechanical problems.
    Requirements
    • Hands-on experience in truck, light or heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in truck fleet management.
    • First degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Knowledge of truck’s components and maintenance of such components.
    • Ability to read and comprehend service and technical information
    • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment with accuracy and speed.

    Scholarship Description
    The Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) is offering scholarships for International students to study at Japanese universities.

    There are two types of scholarships available: Japanese Government (MEXT) Postgraduate Scholarship and Japanese Government (MEXT) Undergraduate Scholarship. This page is the call for the postgraduate scholarship.

    The postgraduate scholarship programme is for a period of 18 months to two years and is awarded to graduate students who wish to pursue independent research or enrol on a postgraduate course at a Japanese university. Subjects are open to any discipline, however those who wish to study Law, Japanese History and Japanese literature must have high level of Japanese ability at the time of the application.



    Eligibility
    QUALIFICATIONS AND CONDITIONS: 
    Nationality: Applicants must have the nationality of a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan. An applicant who has Japanese nationality at the time of application is not eligible. However, persons with dual nationality who hold Japanese nationality and whose place of residence at the time of application is outside of Japan are eligible to apply as long as they choose the nationality of the foreign country and give up their Japanese nationality by the date of their arrival in Japan. Applicant screening will be conducted at the Japanese diplomatic mission in the country of applicant’s nationality.

    Age: Applicants generally must be 35 years or below. Applicants over the age of 35 are asked to contact the Embassy of Japan before applying.

    Academic Background: Applicants must be a graduate from a Japanese university or have academic ability equal or superior to that of a Japanese university graduate. A person will be deemed to have academic ability equal or superior to that of a university graduate, if he/she:
    has completed or will complete 16 years of school education in a foreign country (or 18 years of school education if he/she desires to enroll in a doctoral course in the field of medicine, dentistry or veterinary science, or pharmacy which is based on a 6-year course in a department or faculty); or
    is or will be aged 22 or older and has taken an individual entrance qualification examination and has been judged by a Japanese graduate school as being equal or superior in academic ability to a university graduate (or 24 or older if he/she desires to enroll in a doctoral course in the field of medicine, dentistry or veterinary science, or pharmacy which is based on a 6-year course in a department or faculty). Eligible applicants include those who otherwise satisfy or will satisfy qualification requirements for admission to a Japanese graduate school. As a general rule, a person who has completed a doctoral course may not apply unless he/she seeks to obtain a degree.
    Japanese Language Ability: Applicants must be willing to learn Japanese. Applicants must be interested in Japan and be willing to deepen their understanding of Japan after arriving in Japan. Applicants must also have the ability to do research and adapt to living in Japan.

    Health: Applicants must be free from any mental or physical disabilities that would impede the pursuit of study at Japanese graduate school.
